Young 5’s Program
Our Young 5’s Program is thoughtfully designed for children who are ready for more academic challenges but benefit from additional time to grow socially and emotionally before Kindergarten. In a nurturing, small-group setting, children build confidence, independence, and strong learning habits at their own pace.
The curriculum focuses on early literacy, letter sounds, math concepts, shapes, and hands-on exploration in science and social studies. Lessons evolve throughout the year based on student interests, allowing children to stay engaged while developing fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and classroom readiness.
Daily learning includes a balance of small-group instruction, large-group activities, creative play, and enrichment experiences such as music and library visits. Our Young 5’s classroom provides a supportive transition that prepares children academically, socially, and emotionally for a successful Kindergarten experience.
