4 Year Old Program
The Four-Year-Old Program at Plymouth Academic Gardens is designed to prepare children for kindergarten in a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment. This program builds confidence, independence, and strong social skills while encouraging curiosity and a love of learning.
Children participate in developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, science, and motor development. Learning takes place through a balance of hands-on activities, guided instruction, free choice play, and outdoor exploration. Our approach meets children where they are emotionally and academically while gently challenging them to grow.
Students engage in both small group and whole group activities that help them practice listening, sharing ideas, following directions, and working cooperatively with peers. These experiences support important kindergarten readiness skills such as focus, communication, and classroom responsibility.
